This TA500AE allows for measurement of extrusions or cables over 80mm in width/diameter. Using the 14mm pivot hole at one end of the unit allows the 500mm circumference measuring wheel to drop down onto the material below being measured.


An encoder mounted on the top arm produces electrical pulses when the measuring wheel is rotating which can be used with an electronic counter to show the length being measured.

Standard pulse per revolution (PPR) is 500, giving an output of 1 pulse per mm.
Other PPR encoders available on request. Cable length on the encoder is 2 mtrs.
